How to stay healthy these next two weeks!

The holiday season is filled with fun, but it can also make it harder to stay healthy. We have Christmas and New Years coming up and that can be pretty chaotic. Between the food, drinks, and busy schedule, it’s easy to slip up. Here are some tips to help you stay on track:

1. Don’t Overeat
Holiday food can be tempting, but try to control your portions and eat slowly to avoid overeating. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and choose healthier versions of your favorite foods. Limiting alcohol can help you stay energized and avoid extra calories.

2. Stay Active
With all the holiday activities, it’s easy to skip workouts. But staying active is important. Find time for even short exercises, like a quick walk after a meal.

3. Manage Stress and Sleep
The holidays can be stressful, but take time to relax. Try deep breathing or meditation to calm down. Stick to a regular sleep schedule and avoid caffeine or screens before bed. If you feel overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to ask for help or say “no” to extra tasks.

We hope this helps you stay fit and enjoy the holidays.

Merry Christmas from the CrossFit Electrica team!
