4 Simple Habits We Stick to at CrossFit Electrica

At CrossFit Electrica, we’re all about keeping things simple, sustainable, and effective. You don’t need to flip your whole life upside down to feel strong, energized, and healthy—you just need a few solid habits that you actually stick to. Here are four we swear by:

1. Work Out at Least 3 Times a Week
You don’t need to hit the gym every single day to see results. Consistency beats intensity when it comes to long-term results. Just show up a few times a week, give it your best, and stay consistent. Three solid sessions a week is enough to build strength, boost energy, and keep you feeling awesome.

2. Eat Protein and Veggies First
No complicated meal plans here—just focus on getting enough protein and loading up on veggies. Protein helps build and repair muscle, while veggies give you the vitamins, minerals, and fiber your body needs to thrive. That means more chicken, eggs, beef, tofu, whatever works for you… plus greens and colorful stuff. You'll stay full longer and recover faster.

3. Move More (Shoot for 8k–10k Steps a Day)
Outside the gym, just try to move your body more. Go for a walk, take the stairs, do chores around the house—whatever gets you to around 8–10k steps. It adds up and makes a big difference in how you feel day-to-day.

4. Get 7–9 Hours of Sleep
Seriously, sleep is a game-changer. It helps your body recover, keeps your mind sharp, and makes everything feel easier. Do your best to get a solid night of rest most nights—you’ll feel the difference.
